I am a Digital/Motion Designer with over 5 years of experience working in the digital design industry, at a marketing agency, and 2 large international media and tech companies. I have just finished a 6 month contract role with Yahoo Creative Studios and am looking for full time work. At Yahoo my role was to bring my animation skillset to the team, working on interactive and animated display ads.
Since graduating I have moved quickly from traditional graphic design towards digital design and then motion graphics. The bulk of my experience has been in digital marketing, I primarily use After Effects, Photoshop, Blender, and Illustrator.
Before my most recent role I was living in New Zealand for a few years, there I worked as the only Designer and then Senior Designer for digital marketing company Aro Digital. Here I worked mostly on creating and animating social & display ads, slide & dashboard templates, updating & redesigning their website, and even merch. Whilst at Aro I grew a lot, along with the company. Moving from simply designing, to pitching ideas to clients, constantly improving our internal processes, introducing new services, leading workshops internally & bootcamps within the Wellington community, and mentoring & teaching new designers various animation software.
Before that, I worked in London for Ziff Davis, a major international entertainment company. During my time there, I was the primary designer for the IGN and AskMen London office. I was responsible for producing all of the advertisements featured on their websites, as well as any other in-house design work.
Previously, I worked with a start-up design & PR company called Heavy London as an intern. At Heavy London, I was tasked with designing websites and promotional material.
I graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2015 with First Class Honours in Graphic Design.
